I just finished making a christening gown using a wedding dress. A customer gave me her wedding gown and asked me to make a christening gown for her baby using the lace and fabric from her dress. I was nervous about cutting up someone's wedding gown but it turned out beautifully. I kept the dress as intact as possible and used the train for the fabric for the dress.
